Alternote is an application built based on the platform provided by Evernote. At the same time it is run independently and is not affiliated with Evernote Corporation in any ways.

Data Storage

All your data is stored on Evernote servers in compliance with Evernote Privacy Policy.

Alternote does not store any of your data on the own servers. Alternote application queries Evernote servers directly via the Application Program Interface to read and modify all the data from your account.

Authentication

You sign in into Alternote application using oAuth 2 protocol, which means entering your login or email and password on the secure webpage on evernote.com. Alternote does not have access to your email and password. After successful logging in to Evernote account the secure webpage gives a unique key – the access token – to Alternote which allows it to:

Anonymous Statistics of Usage
